I know some off you wonder What is Peer Educator??? Peer Educators are those Teenagers who undergone series of training. Peer Educators are just simple Teenagers in our community of them are your friends, classmates, schoolmates, and maybe your neighbor. They are just simple but there obligation for some Teens are not simple.
There are some question in our mind How to be a Peer Educator?? There is only things you should have to be a Peer Educator, first you should know how to write, and second you should know how to read… It is just simple to be a Peer Educator…. But you should posses this characteristics:
1. You should have a self confidence.
It is needed so that every time you are conducting your session it would be easy for you to speak in front of many people.
2. A Peer Educator should be a role model
It is necessary so that your participants will respect you because of your good image…
3.Respect your participants..
It is obvious that if you have a respect to your participants they will also give you there respect…
4.Self Control
It is really needed because during the session you may find some participants who will not follow your instruction….
It is just some things that a Peer Educator should posses. If you want to the other things why dont you try to meet some of the Peer Educators in your place??
